South Bend Manuals
Description Number of Pages: 42 This is a reproduction, not a photocopy, of a South Bend Parts Manual and Catalog for 9″ & 10″ Lathes. I included a short descriptive catalog to help identify which lathe a person has, because there were many different models. This manual contains information on lubrication, adjustments, maintenance, and controls as well as a complete parts list with exploded view diagrams. This manual will help you with setting up and running a South Bend 9″ & 10″ Lathe. These are some of the lathes covered in this manual.

My manuals are not photocopies. I maintain a high standard of quality in my reproductions. Most of the manuals I reproduce look better than their originals. I have professionally digitally edited every page, and removed stains, wrinkles and handwriting. All of the manuals are printed on thick white paper to withstand shop wear and tear. We do more than sell manuals.
We are a father and son team that operate a 5,000 sq/ft metal machine and wood shop. We've had to design our own machines (including CNC), and fixtures for our wood working. We make some of the smallest most precise inlay in the world. We maintain tolerances of 0.0005' in a 12' strip of wood, and we have with over 1,100 pieces of wood in them. We've collected various machines and accumulated lots of manuals over the years, and we like to help keep these old machines running. Some of the manuals on this site are from machines in our shop like the, etc.
