Whotee, there were NO shop manuals prior to 1940, just a collection of 'Shop Dope' pages issued as needed from the factory. The wiring diagrams were published in the Rider's Handbook provided to the buyer of a new machine at time of purchase. Digital copies of those diagrams (per-WWII) are hard to find. If any of our members have a Rider's Handbook from the mid to late thirties bikes and could scan the wiring diagram it would be very helpful, we will put it in the library. The pre-war bikes, as you know, have an amp meter in the dash instead of an idiot light and the wiring is slightly different for them.
