So much for having a matching pair. I get that Evinrude does make product changes and enhancements, however when a consumer purchase a pair, they should match. So based on the above, I am left with the following two issues.
1) I need to remove one water restrictor every time I use my boat to flush the engine as it will be in salt water. Since I am in the water, I need to some how remove this restrictor and then attach a hose, This is not what I was expecting. From a basic ‘look’ perspective, one engine is pissing like a race horse and the other is just sputtering water. Bottom line, I’m excited about my new outboards, however not too pleased with the items noted above. I welcome your comments.
