2502 code indicates float switch issue. Try taking a wet vac to the outlet of the drain line and cleaning it by vacuuming the outlet.

This will clear the drain line if it's not tied in with multiple drains, but may not clear the code. To clear, try tuning off breaker(s), wait 10 mins, then turning breakers back on. If this doesn't help then there is an issue with the float switch or the control board.

Float switch is supposed to prevent the drain from over flowing and is normally located in the condensate pan, but I don't advise anything else, other than cleaning the drain line and resetting the system. Posted on Aug 21, 2017.
