Some of these manuals may be official but are not original. Some require work-arounds (read the info on the $8 manual on ebay). Quality may also not be as good (CD/DVD won't read) and you run the risk of not getting the correct manual.

Reading the $8 manual for sale and apparently the Ford Powerstroke is 6.8L. Some manuals are partials (service information only) and some are complete and include all diagrams and troubleshooting (2 disc manual). I have a 2 disc manual and, while it does require some adjustments every now and then to work (bought it off ebay ), it has served me VERY well. I can take any section and turn it into PDF to print or send to my phone for reference and is fairly easy to navigate once you understand the menus.
