Rated 5 out of 5 by ripster from just the best just got my mustang 50 today and its the best mower you could ask for I have almost 3 acre to cut it was a blast With my past mower it wood take me at least a day to cut and it was a 46in cut just did a poor job cutting but with the 50 in and it was 3 weeks over grown it only took 2 hrs and the best cut its had in years so far the only thing I have found bad is the seat it needs to be rased up in the back it makes you feel like you are laying down but I can fix that god job troybilt. It took a little getting used to because of the 25 HP engine packs a lot of kick; but within 30 minutes, I was mowing like a pro.
The size of our yard required at least 2-plus hours. With the new Mustang's 50 inch deck, it takes now about 45 minutes. I even practiced on some of our neighbors' yards. The RPM even makes the standard mower into a mulching mower. Little if any cleanup required.
I did purchase the mulching attachment and it makes the cut lawn even finer than before. VERY SATISFIED with the results. This is the second Troybilt product as I also have a snowblower and have a lot of experience pushing both the WHITE and the GREEN stuff around.
